Frequently Asked Questions

All adults and children over the age of 3 need to purchase a ticket for all cruises. We do offer a children’s discounted ticket for select cruises

You will not receive a ticket just a reservation confirmation. All that is needed at the time of boarding is an ID for the person who made the reservation.

Children are always welcome aboard all of our cruises but tickets for this cruise are sold per seat

All boarding begins 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time.

Our Classic Lake Tour and Riding with a Ranger Tour are narrated tours designed to showcase the Indiana Dunes National Park and as such, we cruise along the lake shore through the park. The Sunset Tour features live entertainment, and the route varies by wave conditions.

In the spring and fall, our schedule is largely dependent on weather, except for our group commitments which will operate as scheduled. Our tours will usually sail during the summer, though weather and wave conditions may require a reduced schedule. It is up to the captain to decide whether conditions are unsafe, and they have discretion to delay or cancel the cruise accordingly. If cruises are canceled due to stormy weather, or any other reason, refunds will be issued for pre-purchased tickets.

April – 7:30pm May – 8pm June – 8:30 pm July – 8:30pm

August – 7:45pm September – 7pm October – 6:15pm

The US Coast Guard requires there be life jackets for every passenger. However, they are only passed out in an emergency.

The Emita II is a double-decker with a partially covered overhead, and full covered main deck.

No outside food and drinks are allowed on the boat. There will be refreshments available for purchase on board.

Drinks and small snacks items are available for purchase by cash or credit card.

Full beverage service will be available for purchase by cash or credit card.

Yes, the Emita II has restrooms.

The Emita II is wheelchair accessible on the first deck only. Bathrooms aren’t wheelchair accessible. 

The Emita II is designed to hold 150 passengers but only 100 tickets are sold for each cruise.

You can call the office at 269-231-0022 extension 1 and ask us to resend the confirmation but all you need is an ID in the name of the person who made the reservation.

We welcome service dogs onboard! The service animal must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered while in public places unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the person’s disability prevents use of these devices. Emotional support animals, pets and other animals not covered by ADA guidelines are not permitted.

Yes! Most of our cruises offer a full service bar with snacks and a selection of beers, wines, cocktails and soft drinks. All vessel bars accept cash and all major credit cards.
