Located less than a mile from the shores of Lake Michigan and nestled alongside the Indiana Dunes National Park, this family-owned vintage motor lodge has been providing guests with large, comfortable rooms and friendly service for nearly 70 years. We never knew Al and Sally, but we’d like to think we’re making them proud!
Beginning May 2021, new owners (still family-owned) began an extensive renovation that has included fresh designs, new paint, landscaping, the addition of an outdoor seating and bonfire area, grills, picnic tables, and an updated parking lot.
Our goal is to bring fun and fresh lodging to the Michigan City area of the Indiana Dunes National Park as the area continues to grow. We know you’ll love your stay!
Most rooms have been remodeled and more renovations will continue throughout 2023. Please check back with us for updates on our progress. Upgrades include all new furniture in some rooms including brand new pillow-top Serta beds and luxury linens. In-room refrigerators, microwaves, Keurig coffee makers and complimentary K-Cups are provided. At this time, all rooms offer cable television, and some have been upgraded with 4K Smart TVs which enable guests to also enjoy their favorite shows and movies from their own streaming accounts. We are especially fond of our new fire pit area, which many guests have already enjoyed! We provide grilling tools and long skewers for making s’mores around the fire; guests must provide their own charcoal and fluid. Our pool and tennis court are not operational at this time, but we are working to offer those once again in 2023.
